The purpose of the training: Strengthening the capacity of «peer» consultants and doctors to create the School «Hayot Maktabi» on living with HIV infection in primary health care.

It always takes time to prepare a person for lifelong treatment, increase his faith-commitment and support. For this purpose, pilot «Schools» will be created at 12 clinics in the city of Tashkent. The teachers of the School will be doctors of infectious disease clinics and «peer» consultants from the NGO «Ishonch va Hayot».

In the conditions of decentralization of health care services for people living with HIV, the severity vector is transferred to primary health care, district and family polyclinics. To help infectious disease doctors who are responsible for the full range of services for PLHIV, the NGO «Ishonch va Hayot» has trained consultants who can support PLHIV in taking lifelong antiviral treatment.
