Competition for the position of trainers (2 people) for working with the REAct tool.

NGO "ISHONCH VA HAYOT" within the framework of the Regional program "Sustainability of services for key populations (KPs) in Eastern Europe and Central Asia", under the project "Reducing Barriers Related to Violation of Human Rights (REAct)" in Uzbekistan, announces a competition for the selection 2 (two) trainers to conduct training on working with the REAct tool.

The main objectives of the training:

Increase the knowledge and skills of outreach workers and peer consultants on removing barriers to service delivery for key populations to promote quality human rights-based health interventions through the REAct tool.

Terms of reference for trainers on the REAct tool.

Project: «Reducing Barriers to Human Rights Violations (REAct)»

Purpose of the training:

Increase the knowledge and skills of outreach workers and peer consultants on removing barriers to service delivery for key populations to promote quality human rights-based health interventions through the REAct tool.

Training participants: outreach workers and peer consultants from among the representatives of the PLHIV and KP communities.

Prepare an "Overview of the collected statistics of violations of rights for 2021-2022 in Uzbekistan".

Prepare a legislative framework for PLHIV and key populations in Uzbekistan.

To give an understanding to the participants of the training, what are human rights, the obligations of the state in the field of human rights.

How to determine if a case is a violation of human rights? State responsibility?

Scheme of operation of the REACT system. Methodology for documenting cases in the REACT system.

Mechanism of response to violation of human rights. What to do next after the case is documented? Algorithm for responding to the fact of a violation based on national legislation.

Analytics and statistical data. Workshop «How to view statistics? How to create charts and tables with data?».

Training format: 2 working days, (theoretical lectures, group discussions, practical sessions on working with the REACT tool, aimed at increasing the knowledge and competencies of outreach workers, peer consultants.)

Qualification requirements for candidates:

К участию в конкурсе приглашается тренеры/консультанты, знания и навыки которых отвечают следующим требованиям:

1.     Опыт работы в системе REAct от 6 мес. до 1 года.

2.     Опыт проведения тренингов в сфере прав человека и ВИЧ-инфекция.

3.     Знание потребностей ЛЖВ и ключевых групп населения.

4.     Понимание этапов и последовательности оказания правовой и социальной помощи ЛЖВ и КГН.
